Join Your First Community

Goal: Become a member of a community that interests you.

Steps:

1. Find a Community

   • Click "Discover" button from Dashboard
   • Or visit the Discover page directly
   • Browse communities or use search/filters

2. Review Community Details

   • Click on a community card that interests you
   • You'll be taken to the About page
   • Read the description carefully
   • Check "What's Included" section
   • Review member count and pricing

3. Check Pricing

   • Free Community: No payment required
   • Paid Community: Shows monthly subscription price
   • Decide if you want to join based on pricing

4. Join the Community

   • For Free Communities:
     • Click the yellow "Join" button
     • You're immediately added as a member
     • Redirected to the community
   • For Paid Communities:
     • Click "Join" button
     • You'll be taken to payment page
     • Enter payment information
     • Complete payment
     • You're added as a member after payment

5. Explore Your New Community

   • You'll land on the Community Feed
   • Check out the different tabs:
     • Community: See posts and discussions
     • Classroom: Browse available courses
     • Calendar: View upcoming events
     • Members: See other community members
     • Leaderboards: Check rankings

6. Make Your First Post (Optional but Recommended)

   • Go to Community Feed tab
   • Click "Write something"
   • Select "Introductions" category
   • Write a brief introduction
   • Post it to introduce yourself

Time Required: 2-5 minutes (longer for paid communities with payment)
Result: You're now a member and can access all community features
